Guest Blog: Three Ways to Inoculate Your Company from Social Media Mayhem

November 30, 2022

It’s been quite a couple of months in the social media world. First Meta, Facebook’s parent company, announced its second quarterly decline in earnings and then laid off 11,000 employees. They also tempered the company’s outlook for the fourth quarter.  To compound matters, advertisers have reduced their spend on Facebook and businesses are removing the seemingly ubiquitous social login button from their websites. If people remember Edie Windsor, it’s typically because she was the lead plaintiff in the Supreme Court case that overturned the Defense of Marriage Act and paved the way for same sex marriage. Whatever you call it, volatility in the workplace is here to stay as people continue to quit their jobs in record numbers, presumably in search of something better. It’s not only about money, either.
