AI Network NEW

The NC TECH AI Network connects professionals, executives, and practitioners across North Carolina who are focused on advancing responsible, innovative, and effective use of artificial intelligence. Through programs held across the state, participants share insights, examine emerging technologies, and discuss best practices in AI strategy, governance, and implementation. An initiative of the Network is the Responsible AI Alliance, led by women and inclusive by design, which elevates diverse perspectives in shaping how AI is developed and deployed. The Network provides a forum for collaboration to help shape the future of AI and drive competitive advantage for North Carolina’s technology ecosystem.

Board of Advisors

NC TECH’s Board of Advisors provides a platform for elevated engagement and visibility within North Carolina’s technology community. Advisors serve as strategic partners to NC TECH, offering insight and feedback, expanding the association’s reach through community connections, and championing NC TECH as the leading voice for the state’s tech sector.

The caliber of participants is exceptional, creating a strong network of mutual benefit. The NC TECH Talent Network connects educators, industry leaders, and workforce experts from across North Carolina to strengthen our state’s tech talent pipeline. Through quarterly virtual roundtables, participants exchange ideas and address real-world challenges shaping the future of tech talent — from training and engagement to the impact of AI. It’s a collaborative space to connect, share solutions, and help North Carolina’s tech workforce grow stronger and future ready.

Women in Tech

While North Carolina ranks #1 in women in tech positions (according to NC STIR), there remains significant opportunity to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workplaces. NC TECH’s Women in Tech programs invite members to join meaningful conversations about empowering women in technology — exploring the current landscape, inspiring girls to pursue STEM, and challenging the status quo in the workplace.

As part of this effort, NC TECH is proud to offer Lean In Circles — small, peer-based groups where women connect, share experiences, and support each other’s professional and personal growth. Circles provide a space for mentorship, learning, and leadership development while helping participants navigate challenges with insight and community.
