Diversity + Inclusion in Tech Summit (Annual Event)

Diversity is critical to our workplaces. It provides companies a wide range of differing viewpoints, experiences and perspectives that is only possible by having a diverse employee base within organizations. And diversity goes beyond race and gender to include ethnicity, military services, LGBTQ, rural populations, people with disabilities and more. We will share inspirational stories and explore what is possible when organizations harness the benefits of a diverse workplace.

Diversity Benchmark Initiative

The North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH), along with partners The Diversity Movement and Racepoint Global, have collaborated on a project to define a baseline of how tech and tech-enabled companies/organizations are faring in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion.  The aggregate data will provide a broader picture of how companies across the region are doing with efforts to build a more diverse and inclusive workplace.

The annual benchmark will provide information for business leaders, government officials, economic developers, and others to utilize as the state’s tech sector is spotlighted as a national tech hub.
