Annual Meeting of the Association Announced

February 14, 2025, in conjunction with Outlook for Tech

As a membership association, NC TECH holds an Annual Meeting of its Technology Company members per our bylaws.  This usually takes place as a brief agenda item at Outlook for Tech, during which a voice vote is called for the election of new or returning Directors of the association.  Related to that, a proxy ballot will be sent this week to the Primary Contact of each Technology Company member with a link to a ballot, so please be on the lookout for that if you are that person, and we will appreciate a prompt submittal.  The reason for a proxy ballot in advance of the Annual Meeting is to ensure we reach the threshold of votes required by the Bylaws of the Association.

How Digital Accessibility is Opening Doors

At Ablr, our mission is to remove barriers for people with disabilities, in all aspects of life, and we believe that accessibility is not just about compliance—it is about creating opportunities. When content is designed to be inclusive, it empowers people with disabilities to achieve their goals and contribute to society. One story that embodies this is that of Robert Dittman, who overcame accessibility challenges to become the first blind person to pass the Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) exam.
