The NC TECH Awards, our largest event of the year, brings together leaders from technology, business, education, and government to celebrate growth, innovation, and leadership in the State’s vibrant tech sector.

It’s an evening of networking and celebration to recognize tech companies, the use of tech and leaders for their achievements. This event, with presenting sponsors Cherry Bekaert and USI is the only statewide tech awards gala, and includes a reception, dinner, and awards ceremony.

Welcome to the application page for the 2024 NC TECH Awards – North Carolina’s only statewide tech awards program dedicated to celebrating growth, innovation, impact, and leadership. The NC TECH Awards Gala will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center on Tuesday, December 3rd, where hundreds will gather to honor the finalists and announce the winners.

Corporate + Individual Applications

Deadline extended thru July 31st. Visit the online portal to submit your application for your OWN company. You can select from our corporate and/or individual award categories. Increase your chances - submit for multiple award categories.

Nominate an Individual or Organization

Know a company, organization or leader who should be considered for an award? Send your nominations to Michelle Calton and include a company name, contact person with email address and an award category.

NC TECH will alert your nominee that they’ve been nominated and encourage them to apply. The nominee must apply to be considered.

Applicants must be a technology company that is either headquartered in North Carolina or has a significant presence in the state.

View Your Application

Review + Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed in a two-stage review process, led by Cherry Bekaert and USI, in partnership with an independent selection committee. Finalists will be notified in mid-October and winners will be announced at the NC TECH Awards on December 3rd.

Presenting Partners Cherry Bekaert and USI will conduct a thorough review of all applications and will provide data points to an independent Selection Committee. The Selection Committee is comprised of leaders from across the state representing industry and entrepreneurial non-profits, economic development organizations, venture firms, higher education institutions and media. A Selection Committee meeting will take place to determine the slate of finalists and winners. The Selection Committee roster will be released soon.
