NC TECH
releases a monthly Tech Talent/IT Jobs snapshot which captures the environment for tech employment in North Carolina.  Readers can view the number of IT job postings presented in various top ten lists (skills, jobs, employers, regions) as well as a rolling 12-month chart reflecting the trends in job openings over the previous year. 

Utilizing the TalentNeuron tool from Gartner, the world’s leading IT research + advisory firm, this snapshot is designed to provide insights to both tech employers + professionals as they assess the employment landscape. 

This Tech Talent/IT Job Trends report is released in the latter part of each month with data from the previous month.

2020 REPORT RELEASED

NC TECH commissions an annual North Carolina State of Technology Industry Report (NC STIR). The inaugural report was released in January 2015, with annual updated releases early in each subsequent year.  The 2020 report highlights (and downloadable full version) can be found at www.NCSTIR.com

KEY FINDINGS


The valuable information in the report has a variety of uses:

  • Repository of facts, statistics, trends, narratives + insights into NC’s tech industry
  • Guide for companies considering headquarter relocation or operations establishment
  • Source of data + trends for policy makers

STATE OF THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ROADSHOW – BRIEFING EVENTS 

NC TECH will hosted three regional briefings to share key findings and trends from data collection. The initial release took place on January 24, 2020 in Charlotte at NC TECH’s annual Outlook for Tech conference. Subsequent briefings took place in the Triangle and Wilmington. 

 

PUBLISHED DIRECTORY

NC TECH publishes a Directory of its members for distribution statewide to business and civic leaders. The Directory features the NC STIR findings and underwriters.
