Women in Tech: Finding Connection and Support
For many women, finding connection and support at work can be a challenge. Nearly one in five women report being the only woman in the room—and with most senior leaders still men, many women have limited access to mentors, sponsors, and role models who share their experiences. For women of color and those with other marginalized identities, the path can be even more isolating and complex.
That’s why NC TECH partnered with LeanIn.Org—the nonprofit founded by Sheryl Sandberg—to launch Lean In Circles: small, peer-driven groups where women come together across roles and experience levels to connect, share, and grow.
In your Circle, you’ll find:
- Peer-to-peer mentorship and genuine connection
- Space to discuss challenges and build confidence
- Tools to recognize and combat bias
- Opportunities to strengthen leadership skills
Whether you’re adapting to a new stage in your career or looking for support from women who get it, your Circle offers the boost we all need to thrive—together.
