The NC TECH Awards is North Carolina's statewide awards program dedicated to recognizing tech companies, the use of technology, and leaders for their achievements. There are multiple awards under the main categories (Tech Corporate Awards, Use of Tech Awards, and Individual Awards) and you can view the full list and access the online application at the link below.

The finalists and winners will be honored at the NC TECH Awards Gala on Tuesday, December 3 at the Raleigh Convention Center, with presenting sponsors Cherry Bekaert and USI. The Awards, our largest event of the year, brings together 700+ leaders from technology, business, education, and government to celebrate growth, innovation, and leadership in the State’s vibrant tech sector.

Leadership Summit + Golf Classic

An annual favorite, the Leadership Summit is hosted by NC TECH along with its Board of Directors and Advisors. Geared towards executives, this summit provides the opportunity to hear from some of the tech sector’s influential leaders on variety of topics, from talent to transformation, through both structured discussions and more informal networking and engagement opportunities. Attendance is capped at 200. 

2024 Theme: Adaptive Leadership

In today’s world, adapting and changing is a “must” to traverse daily life to achieve personal and professional goals and it is important for leaders to show the way. This year’s Leadership Summit will focus on Adaptive Leadership and its basic principles. To survive and thrive in today’s business world, one needs to be more than high-performing. They need to adopt new strategies and techniques to overcome any challenges that come their way and adaptive leadership is a great set of tools to help navigate to success.

Business and technology leaders from across the state gather at Pinehurst for a golf tourney that includes breakfast, lunch and prizes presented at the Awards Luncheon. Regardless of your golf skills, it is a great opportunity to have some productive time away from the office and build critical relationships with tech leaders from across the state.

The popular CIO Foursome sponsorship allows sponsors to choose from committed CIOs to participate in their golf foursome for the day. Golfers are capped at 128, but there are other opportunities to participate.

Pulse

NC TECH will poll roughly 400 leaders in the state's tech sector during the last month of each quarter (comprised of the NC TECH Board of Directors, Board of Advisors, Tech CEOs, and site leaders of major non-headquartered tech hubs). A live web briefing on the results will be held shortly after each poll is conducted. Polls will be archived on the NC TECH Pulse page.

This polling is made possible through the support of Stearns Financial. Dennis Stearns, the firm's founder, will join NC TECH CEO Brooks Raiford during these live briefings to discuss the results and trends.
