Lunch + Learn

Want to learn more about a diverse range of topics, from general business to those more technical in nature, while enjoying lunch hosted by a fellow member?  Or are you interested in hosting a workshop to share more information on a topic about which you and your company are passionate?  If so, a Lunch + Learn may be the perfect option.

Lunch + Learns provide the hosting NC TECH member an opportunity to share valuable expert content in a briefing or workshop format.  Seating is typically limited (up to 25) and the sessions are marketed to a target audience of executives that would most likely find value in the content.

Attendees matching the target audience description may register online for $10 to lock in their reserved space at the event.

For 2020, Lunch + Learns will be available monthly in both the Charlotte and Triangle markets and as requested in Asheville, the Triad, and Wilmington.  Charlotte Lunch + Learns will take place at WeWork at 128 S. Tryon Street, and Triangle Lunch + Learns will be at The Frontier.

INFORMATION FOR HOSTS

The Lunch + Learn host is responsible for content including topic determination and speaker identification.  The host must submit the sign-up form and agree to pay the $500 marketing fee plus the cost of lunch.

NC TECH is responsible for coordinating with the host to determine an available date, marketable topic and description, and target audience.  NC TECH will then create an event page and will drive attendance through website, social media and e-communication promotion. NC TECH will send a confirmation to attendees and provide on-site logistical support including name badges and signage as well as a brief welcome to attendees and host introduction.
