Tech Day at the Legislature
NC TECH members gather to engage our legislators and demonstrate the vibrancy of the tech sector. The day begins with a Legislative Breakfast with NC Senate and House members.
Tech Day attendees are invited to attend a public meeting of the NC House IT Committee that same day at 11am. During the committee session, NC TECH CEO Brooks Raiford will brief legislators on the 2019 State of Technology Industry Report (www.ncstir.com), and will be joined by State CIO Eric Boyette who will brief members on initiatives and activities regarding the procurement and deployment of technology in state government.
Note: Breakfast registration is free, but required, and is open to NC TECH members only. The House IT Committee meeting is open to the public and no registration is required to attend that session.
