What makes you excited to go to work each day?

The team of people who surround me makes me excited to go to work each day. I work with some of the smartest, and certainly the most community-intent leaders. From our 23 person Board of directors who represent C-suite technology leadership from Fortune 20 to locally-based mid-sized businesses to leaders of nonprofits across our community, to our dedicated team of 21 employees, we serve with trust in one-another and our community, tenacity to navigate challenges, curiosity to gain new skills and seek new perspectives, and relationship-centered activities and mindsets.

I am blessed by these great minds, truly great minds that expand my knowledge and perspectives every day. And I am blessed by individuals who are truly community servants-- seeking to make our home a better place for all who live here.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

Surprisingly, I have lived on 3 continents.

Why are you involved with NC TECH and what's your favorite activity or event?

NC Tech is central to the full engagement of technology leaders and firms across our state. It is difficult to represent so many communities and constituents, but it is an important task. Technology practitioners need to be kept abreast of cross-sector challenges and new innovations. Having multiple opportunities to engage with one another across distance and expertise is important. NC Tech makes that possible through their efforts and events.

My favorite activity with NC Tech is OUTLOOK for TECH.

What's your favorite hidden gem in North Carolina?:

My favorite hidden gem in NC would have to be Linville Caverns. What a great stalagmite cave journey!

There is so much entertainment available these days - give us a recommendation for a favorite television or podcast series.:

I am a total British Detective Series enthusiast. As such, my TV recommendations would fall in that category and include Vera, Endeavor, and Ludwig.
