Provide a brief description of your current role:
As Chief Growth Officer, I specialize in solving hiring challenges, motivating teams, and leading marketing initiatives that innovate the human capital experience. My approach transforms talent acquisition into a dynamic, people-centric practice, forging meaningful partnerships with companies. Recognizing that every company is unique, my ultimate goal is to help organizations discover exceptional talent that truly makes a difference.
Who and/or what influenced you most in pursuing a career in technology?:
Reflecting on my journey in talent acquisition, the evolution toward technology-driven processes has been nothing short of remarkable. When I started, recruitment was largely manual, involving countless hours sorting through resumes and conducting face-to-face interviews. Today, about 70% of our work is powered by sophisticated technology—AI-driven applicant tracking systems, predictive analytics, and automated sourcing tools have revolutionized our approach. This shift has allowed us to identify and engage top talent quickly and accurately, significantly improving the candidate's experience and the efficiency of the recruitment process. Witnessing how these advancements have improved our efficiency and enhanced the candidate’s experience is incredibly inspiring. It's fulfilling to be part of a positive change that empowers individuals to find their ideal roles and enables businesses to thrive by securing the best talent. This technological evolution underscores the importance of adapting to innovation and reaffirms my commitment to leveraging these tools to make a meaningful impact in the recruitment landscape.
If you could describe your greatest professional success/accomplishment in just one sentence, what would you say?:
My greatest accomplishment is being told that I inspire and empower other women leaders to achieve exceptional results and surpass collective goals.
If you could switch roles with one other woman for a week, who would choose and why?:
Ellen DeGeneres. Ellen lives with laughter and authenticity, sharing her remarkable passion for spreading kindness every day that she is on our globe.
What are some things that your company or organization is doing to grow and support women in the tech workforce?:

NC TECH hosts an annual Summit for Women in Tech gathering women from all parts of the state and in all stages of their careers. How are you involved? What are your favorite aspects of this event? Why is an event like this important for women to attend?:
I attended the Summit in 2023 and found it incredibly inspiring and motivating to be surrounded by such powerful women leaders. Eager to contribute, I joined the Summit Committee for 2024 and am actively supporting the event in any way I can. I’m excited to share details about the upcoming Summit with every client, friend, and coworker, encouraging them to attend. This year's event promises to be remarkable, with exceptional topics and speakers that will undoubtedly make a lasting impact.
What book(s) would you recommend as a must-read and why?:
I just finished reading Fear is My Homeboy, by Judi Holler, which was REMARKABLE! The book is all about women leaders "Bossing UP" and achieving success on our own terms. It emphasizes the importance of stopping self-doubt and blocking impostor syndrome.
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?:
Abstract painting or being on the golf course with my Hubby.
What is your favorite quote?:
“Today is a GOOD day to have a GOOD day!”
