Member Spotlight: Genesis 10
In 1999, Harley Lippman asked 12 of his former colleagues to help him build a professional technology services firm that companies across the U.S. would rely on to deliver experienced, professional business and IT talent. Ten colleagues said yes, and the company was named Genesis10 in their honor.
What problem(s) are you currently solving for your customers?
One exciting new development for Genesis10 is our newly earned status as a Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE). We secured this certification in 2023 through Disability:IN because our founder and CEO, Harley Lippman, is neurodivergent.
Why is news about our certification important? And what does it mean for buyers of staffing services? First and foremost, working with a disability-owned business enterprise like Genesis10 helps to raise awareness around disability issues and neurodiversity. Working with a certified DOBE also can help businesses meet their supplier diversity goals.
While our DOBE certification is new, our commitment to our clients remains the same. We solve talent challenges through a broad array of services including contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placement recruiting. Our other services include Dev10, our tech talent development arm, and our IT delivery centers, which provide onshore staffing support with enhanced security and controls in strategically located U.S. cities.
Tell us about some future plans for your organization.
Genesis10 will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2024 and we’re already cooking up some exciting plans. We’re also very energized to partner with clients to help them reach their diversity goals thanks to our DOBE status.
Why is North Carolina a great place to do business?
As a company that was founded to provide IT staffing support, we have a long history in North Carolina thanks to its vibrant and growing tech industry. North Carolina is ranked No. 4 in the country in terms of tech job creation. That’s great news for the economy, but it’s a challenge for employers. Genesis10 is proud to work with companies throughout the state to help them find, develop and retain tech talent.
