Tana Greene

CEO + Founder, MyWorkChoice

Since co-founding Greene Group in 1988, a national staffing company that grew to operate in more than 20 states, Tana Greene has been on a mission to help people. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, she saw, first-hand, the changing needs of the hourly workforce and understood the vital role technology must play moving forward. In 2017, she guided the company’s breakthrough transformation into MyWorkChoice,. Her company has consistently been recognized as one of the top 100 fastest growing woman-owned business in the United States.

Tana is the author of Creating a World of Difference, and she frequently speaks to audiences not only about her approach to business, but also her own life story and experience with domestic violence.



Timothy Humphrey

State Executive + VP, Chief Data Office
RTP Senior Site Executive - IBM

Timothy Humphrey currently serves as Vice President, IBM Chief Data Office and as the Senior State Executive for IBM in North Carolina and Senior Location Executive for IBM in Research Triangle Park, here in North Carolina and one of the company’s largest sites. Previously, Tim held various IBM executive roles spanning Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Data, Acquisitions, Supply Chain, and Sales Support. He led IBM’s efforts to transform into the premier cognitive enterprise by embedding Artificial Intelligence into internal business processes across the company. Prior to joining IBM's supply chain organization in 2011, Tim held several engineering roles leading the design, development and launch of several technologies and offerings for Lenovo and the former Personal Computer Division of IBM. Tim has over 20 years of global experience in the computing industry with experience in technical support, hardware and software development, quality assurance, and battery technology. He has earned numerous patents as well as management, innovation, and excellence awards for his contributions to the computing industry.

Active in the community, Tim engages in several non-profit fundraising activities, special events, and volunteer efforts and serves as a board member for many local non-profit organizations. Tim is also a very active mentor to over 30 global professionals, students, and youth.

Tim graduated from North Carolina State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and is a member of the North Carolina State University Electrical and Computer Engineering Hall of Fame. Tim is a North Carolina native and currently resides in Raleigh, NC.


Todd Olson

CEO + Co-Founder, Pendo

Todd Olson is co-founder and CEO of Pendo, a product cloud that helps digital product teams and application owners deliver software experiences that users love. Todd is building one of North Carolina's fastest-growing software companies, now with 375 employees and six offices around the world. Pendo has raised $106 million in venture capital over four rounds and counts more than 1,200 customers, ranging from B2B SaaS startups to some of the world's largest technology companies, insurance providers, banks and retailers. Earlier this year, the company made its second acquisition in two years, purchasing Sheffield, U.K.-based startup Receptive, and announced plans to lease the top five floors of downtown Raleigh's newest skyscraper when it's complete in 2021. Outside of work, Todd enjoys mentoring local entrepreneurs through the MetLife - TechStars Digital Accelerator and spending time with his wife and five children, aged 0 to 22.



Michael Praeger

CEO + Co-Founder, AvidXchange

Michael Praeger is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of AvidXchange, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand accounts payables management and automated payment solutions. Since founding AvidXchange in 2000, Michael has been an active participant and speaker on "payables and payment automation" at various industry conferences and considered a thought leader within the industry in developing creative solutions and best practices for payables and payment automation.

Michael has spent the last 20 years founding, managing, merging and selling technology and web services-related companies. Prior to establishing AvidXchange, Michael was Co-Founder of PlanetResume.com, a technology career enhancement and recruiting site that successfully completed its merger with CareerShop.com and CareerTV.net in November 1999. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder and CEO of InfoLink Partners and InfoVentures, LP. Michael also served as an Associate with Summit Partners, a Boston-based Venture Capital and Buyout partnership with more than $1 billion under management. He received a B.S.B.A. in Finance from Georgetown University. Michael is also a graduate of the "Birthing of Giants" executive entrepreneurship program at MIT.

Michael is currently active in the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), as well as the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Michael is also currently serving on the advisory board of the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), and on Comdata's Customer Advisory Board. Michael is revered as a leading business-to-business provider of innovative electronic payment solutions.



Derek Wang

CEO + Founder, Stratifyd

Derek Wang is the co-founder and CEO of Stratifyd, Inc., a recognized innovator and global force in the customer analytics industry. 

After receiving his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, Derek—along with the company’s two other co-founders—began conducting government-funded research on the ways AI could be used to ingest, analyze, and visualize unstructured data. During this period, Derek found strong use cases while working with Bank of America, Microsoft, and Motorola Solutions. This post-doctorate work was the foundation on which Stratifyd was built. 

Since the company’s founding in 2015, more than 20 Fortune 1500 companies have used the Stratifyd platform. The company specializes in key verticals, including financial services, pharma, and consumer packaged goods, and has attracted more than $50 million in investments. Stratifyd is deepening its AI capabilities in the areas of unsupervised machine learning and natural language processing, expanding and strengthening its product offerings to focus on key verticals, and growing its global footprint. 

Derek is also the Associate Director of the Charlotte Visualization Center at UNC Charlotte, a highly interdisciplinary center that applies interactive visualization and visual analytics to a variety of large scale and complex problems in science, engineering, medicine, business, design, and the arts. 

Derek remains focused on realizing Stratifyd’s vision to take data and AI democratization to next level, defining the market with unique capabilities that can understand people better than they understand themselves.
