DIGITAL DRIVE: An Electronics Recycling Event for NC Businesses + Consumers

The Raleigh Digital Drive, in partnership with Kramden Institute, will be held in the parking lot of the NC TECH office, at 4000 Westchase Blvd. Please follow directional signs once you arrive.

About Kramden Institute

Kramden's mission is to advance equitable access to devices, connectivity, and technology education. Kramden Institute celebrates its 23rd anniversary in 2026 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization so your equipment donations are tax-deductible, subject to IRS regulations. As a non-profit, Kramden is pleased to offer donation receipts. You can complete an Equipment Donation Receipt and bring it with you on October 9 or complete the form onsite. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you can’t drop off on October 9th, Kramden can accommodate donations at their warehouse and office at 5010 Highway 55 in Durham, NC. For donations of approximately 20 computers or more, Kramden’s staff will happily make plans to come by with a van to collect your donation. Contact kramden.org.  

Charlotte 

The Charlotte Digital Drive is in partnership with E2D and will also take place at their facilities. Please drop devices at 920 Hamilton St Charlotte, NC 28206 - follow signs once you arrive. Take a look at the location for device drop-off and flow for driving for the drop-off location.

About E2D

E2D is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating solutions to provide essential digital tools and access for all North Carolina residents, effectively eliminating "the digital divide."​ E2D sources corporate donations of retired computer hardware and refurbishes them in our three Technology Labs. E2D is proud to hire, train and employ its Technology Lab technicians from Charlotte Region high schools. Our goals are to place low-cost or no-cost computers into homes of families for whom the costs of computers would be otherwise unaffordable.

DIGITAL DRIVE PRESENTING SPONSOR (1 Available - $2,000)

Show your support for the responsible recycling of electronics while getting some positive branding through broad promotion of the event.

• Recognition as the sponsor with logo on lunch vouchers for the food truck given to the first 100 people donating to the Digital Drive
• Option to have your representatives hand out vouchers for branding and networking.
• Logo on graphics and collateral to promote the event (website, social media, flyers for distribution) and the day of the event.
