Lunch + Learn

Charlotte Lunch + Learn: The Cybersecurity Continuum…People, Process & Technology

Organizational risk related to cybersecurity threats continues to increase at an alarming rate.  According to the 2018 Verizon Data Breach Investigation Report, there were over 53,000 incidents logged with at least 2,216 confirmed data breaches for the reporting period.  Organizations face pressure from the growing number and sophistication of their attackers while finding it difficult to hire, train and retain top cybersecurity talent.  As cybersecurity professionals, we clearly have a challenge on our hands and it is incumbent upon us to work together and help one another combat the growing threat.  With this in mind, there are tactics that are being used across various organizations to improve their ability to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover from cybersecurity risks and attacks.  During this session, we will discuss the current cybersecurity threat landscape and review tactics being used across an organization’s people, technology and processes that can help reduce your threat risk.
